Australian singer Kylie Minogue has been presented with an honorary Doctor of Health Science award from Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford.Adele tickets online
The 43-year-old breast cancer in her work to promote awareness of the award was in recognition.
She was in 2005 and the diagnosis was surgery and chemotherapy.
Minogue said, "To know that research is happening is absolutely vital. Having had first-hand experience you depend on it, you need it, you long for it".
She added: "you want them to come up with something that will make it easier for you and to potentially one day eradicate it."
